Article: “Sorry guys, these lots are not for you”
1)What were some of the reasons cited in the article why there was a need to have parking lots for women only in these buildings?
Firstly, it is done for the convinience of the women as it is less tiring for women to travel long distances and have to walk a long way to lobby, especially when they are in heels.Secondly, This is to allow women to have a safer feeling parking at the reserved lots near lift lobbies.Lastly, it s easier as the reserved lots are bigger than the normal ones, it helps women, especially those with children. It is also much more easier for them to load and unload things.
2) (a) In your opinion, do you think it is necessary to allocate parking lots for women only? Why?
No, I think it is not necessary to allocate parking lots for women only. Since most of the women in singapore can drive car. Which means they have the ability to do the same thing what men can do. If the women have parking lots allocate for them only, this mean that women don't have the same ability to do things what men can do. Which means that we women are weaker than the men.
(b)Which group of people do you then feel should be allocated such priority parking? Explain.
I feel that family with disabled people, elderly men/women should have the priority parking. It would be very troublesome if for the famlily with the disable people the move them up down the car if the car is park very far away. It will also be easier for the elderly as they only need to move a short distance.

Q1: What were some indications which showed that the victim was facing problems before he committed the rash act?
There are a few indications that shows that David was facing problems before he committed the rash act of killing his professor. Friends said that he was usually cheerful and jovial, but when the final semester began in early January, he started to change. David is a fan of the computer game World of Warcraft and started to played the game for more than six hour. His friends said that it was unusual because he usually stopped playing when exams are near and when projects were due. But then, two weeks ago, he abruptly cut off all comunication with his friends. A friend of David said that he knew he was having problems with his FYP and that he neglected it last semester as he was too busy with the other modules. The friend believed that he played games to avoid his problems.
Q2:(a) Is it very stressful being a student in Singapore? Explain.
Yes, I think it is very stressful being a student in Singapore at times. We not only face stress in studies, but also from our family and friends.Being a student, facing stress in school is very normal as we have a lot of subjects to handle and there are tests frequently. As a child, we would hope that we could do a good job. Therefore, if we got bad results for tests/exams, we will feel very upset that we did not reach our parents’ expectations. In this way, we will push ourselves harder and ended up being stress. This causes one to feel even more frustrated and angry, which adds to their stress level. Some student like to compare result, which somehow add up their stress level.
(b) What are some problems you face as a student which adds to your stress level?
I am not so sure as i don't always feel stress. Maybe this is call being carefree. Even though i something will feel a little stress after a test that i failed. But i will not think about after a good night sleep which help me to forgat all the bad things that happen on that day.

Article: “Sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex”
1.1)Girls under 16 is engaging in sex is because they have a desire for a closer connection with their boyfriend. They feel that sex is the only way to capture their boyfriend's heart. One of another reasons is the need to follow recent popular trends. They think that doing what their friends do is very cool and modern.
1.2)One of the consequences faced by young girls who engaged in underage sex is teen pregnancy, which increases the numbers of unwanted babies.Only half of those who engage in underage sex use contraceptives. Some believe urinating or exercising after sex can avoid getting pregnant.
People who are engage in sex may face the risk of contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Like AIDS which is the most known is caused by HIV. Chlamydia is the most common infection in young girls,of the bacterial infection that often does not produce symptoms like the AIDS. It may lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and the risk of ectopic pregnancy and future infertility.
By engaging in sex with their boyfriend if you are aged 12 to 14 is statutory rape, if you are 12 and below 12 it is investigated as rape. Even if they themselves are willing to do so, their boyfriend to be jailed for up to 20 years and fined up to $10,000 or caned
2)What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?
I felt very surprised that there was a sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex, nearly 45% more than the year before. I think that they do not respect themselves and did not think before they act. They don't have the courage to say no. Probably they did not want to say as they were afraid of losing their boyfriend. But troblem will come non-stop. They may have to undergo abortion, which may lead to STDs.
If one day, one of mine close friend tell me that he/she has been engaging in sex, I will try my best to stop him/her from doing so as i know it is wrong. As it may destroy his/her future and the consequences that they will get into, such as unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
